12 Prepositions Worksheets for Kids to Easily Practice Grammar
Prepositions worksheets are one of those things that sound super simple… until your child starts second guessing every single word in the sentence LOL.
Like they KNOW what “under” means. They use it all day long.
“The toy is under the couch.”
“My shoes are by the door.”
“The dog ran into the kitchen.”
But then you ask, “Okay sooo… which word is the preposition?” and suddenly everybody’s staring at the ceiling like the answer is written up there somewhere.
That’s exactly why I made this printable.

Ain’t no way my daughter would stay interested in that for long. Prepositions are words that help explain where, when, or how something happens in a sentence.
Words like:
in, on, under, between, after, during, and behind
These little words connect ideas together and help sentences make sense.
For example:
“The cat is under the table.”Without the word under, we wouldn’t know WHERE the cat is. And once kids start noticing prepositions in everyday conversations, they suddenly spot them EVERYWHERE. It’s actually kind of funny watching it happen haha.
